Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is more popularly known. [6] He serves as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc.'s subsidiary Google. Born in Madurai, India.[4] Pichai graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a degree in metallurgical engineer. He earned an M.S. in the United States after moving to the United States. from Stanford University in materials science and engineering . He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar, respectively.Pchai began his career as a material engineer. Following a brief stint at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. At Google, he was in charge of the development of Google Drive as well as product management and innovation. In addition Pichai went on to supervise the development of various other applications such as Gmail and Google Maps. Pichai made public in 2010 that Google had made the codec for video VP8 open source and had also launched WebM an entirely new video format. The Chromebook was released in the year 2012. Pichai also added Android to the Google products that he managed in 2013.
