
Aahoo Jahansouzshahi (January 10 in 1980) was professionally known as Sarah Shahi, is an American actress. She was previously a model. She was the lead character Carmen on The L Word, Kate Reed on USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in CBS Crime drama Person of Interest(2012-2016). She also played the role of Det. Dani Reese appeared in Life [3] as well in Alias in a supporting role. She also appeared in Reverie which was a series that premiered in 2018. In the year 2019, she was in a regular role on City on a Hill on Showtime[5] and was featured in seven episodes on the show The Rookie as romantic interest Jessica Russo While working as an extra on the set of Dr. T and the Women in Texas, Shahi met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to move to Hollywood and she was offered roles in several series, including Alias, Dawson's Creek, Reba, and Supernatural. In 2005, she was in the role of a supporting character DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales on The L Word, which was her first appearance on the show's second season. Shahi's contract for two years was ended after the fourth season. The character she played was written out.
