She founded Feminist Frequency which is a website that features videos and comments on the representations of women in pop media. Feminist Frequency is a non-for profit site for education that investigates female representations in popular cultural narratives is founded and is directed by Sarkeesian. Destroying stereotypes about women are the main goals of her work.
