Harry

Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known for the music world, is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. He is the child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1, 1994 in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where along with three fellow students, he formed his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. They won the 2009 Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. While he's always fascinated by music, he was also hoping to be an attorney or physical therapist. In order to provide for the family he took an hour or so working at a baker's shop. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His song Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. It was for this reason that his band broke up. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the group that was to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that formed in the year 2010. The group performed the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the contest. This made them one of the top contenders for winning the contest. However they were placed third just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. However, Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with Syco. Syco record label.
